Psychological Services for Youngsters and Youth {4-18 years}
Ruth Turnbull is a psychologist accepts referrals for children and young people up to 18 years of age.
Ruth has a Masters degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology (Monash University) and has worked with children and young people for 28 years. She has worked in a variety of environments throughout her career including Autism Victoria (now known as AMAZE), OzChild foster care program, as a school psychologist for a Melbourne based private school (K-12), and as a senior clinician at Child and Youth Mental Health Services in Gippsland as the coordinator of the autism assessment team. Ruth has been working in private practice since 2012 and was the co-founder of think.grow.connect before moving on to Ruth Turnbull Psychology in 2017. Ruth has experience in all areas of childhood development including developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, emotional regulation difficulites, child-parent relationship difficulties, learning disorders and adjustment disorders. Ruth has lived in the Gippsland area since 2008 and is passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to children, young people and their families in the Gippsland region. Ruth is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (MAAPi) and registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. Ruth is registered as a Medicare Provider and rebates are available under certain conditions for children and young people accessing therapy. |
